How it works

From the first conversation to the job being signed off

The whole thing, start to finish, and everything we offer in one place. Nothing happens until you say yes, at any stage.

We manage the whole thing from start to finish, and every job is inspected and signed off by us before you pay for it.

How HomeSafe works

Complete coordination to make your home safe.

One trusted local team to plan it, arrange it and see it through, so every part of the house is looked after together.

STEP ONE

We assess the whole home.

We visit and look at everything that affects safe living, from the front path to the bathroom, and tell you honestly what matters.

STEP TWO

We choose the right people.

We match each job to the right person from our vetted local team. You never have to find anyone.

STEP THREE

We oversee every step.

We schedule it, manage it, and do the chasing so the work happens properly and on time. One point of contact for all of it: us.

STEP FOUR

We check it and sign it off.

We inspect the finished work, sign it off, and keep an eye on things afterwards. Nothing left for you to chase.

Complete peace of mind, from the first visit to the final check.

Everything we offer

The assessment, the works, the support and the two membership tiers. The assessment is free, and everything else is quoted in writing before it happens. Whatever you choose, we manage it and stand behind it.

WHERE EVERYONE STARTS

The Home Assessment

A whole-home visit and a written Staying Home Plan with prices. Yours to keep, and yours to use with anyone. There is no obligation to have any of the work done by us.

Free

Read about the assessment
  • Every room walked through with your parent
  • Stairs, bathroom, kitchen, lighting, doors, outside access
  • A conversation about how they actually manage day to day
  • Family can join by video call
  • Written plan with prices and a suggested order
  • Advice on the Disabled Facilities Grant where it may apply

STRAND ONE

Home and works

Quoted job by job, from the plan, in writing. Managed, inspected and signed off by us. No job too small.

  • Grab rails and stair rails
  • Stairlifts, sourced and installed
  • Wet rooms and level access showers
  • Ramps, steps and thresholds
  • Lighting inside and out
  • Locks, key safes and door security
  • Small repairs and odd jobs

STRAND TWO

Support and everyday help

Booked as one-offs, or included in membership. Quoted in writing before anything happens.

  • Mobility equipment, sourced and fitted
  • Alarms and technology arranged and tested
  • Check-in visits
  • Gardening and cleaning
  • Window cleaning

Membership

Once the first jobs are done, membership is how we stay involved. One monthly membership, and one visit every month.

Every month we come out and

  • Audit the house room by room and check it is still safe
  • Look for upkeep before it becomes a problem
  • Deal with the small jobs while we are there, a bulb or a loose handle
  • Write up and quote anything bigger, and tell you about it

And it comes with

  • A written note to the family after every visit
  • Family portal access for the family members your parent chooses
  • One point of contact, and a person who knows the house
  • Priority booking when something needs doing
